Welcome Message From the Principal

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the principal of Grace Thille Elementary. While this is my second year at Grace Thille, I proudly bring 21 years of experience within the Santa Paula Unified School District. As a product of Santa Paula schools myself, I am deeply committed to serving our students and community as they grow and thrive academically.

Our school community is built on strong relationships and open communication. My door is always open to parents and community members who would like to learn more about our school, share feedback, or find ways to get involved. At Grace Thille, we believe that a child’s school experience should be positive, engaging, and memorable. We encourage you to partner with us in your child’s education.

Throughout the year, we will offer a variety of family engagement opportunities designed to foster meaningful connections between home and school. Be on the lookout for information about upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and ways to participate in school activities. We also invite you to join our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) — an essential part of our school community that supports programs, events, and enrichment opportunities for all students. When families and schools work together, it makes a lasting and positive impact on students' success and well-being.

To stay connected, please be sure to sign up for ParentSquare, our primary platform for school communication. Teachers also use ParentSquare to share classroom updates and important information. You can find our school on Facebook and Instagram. Additionally, we encourage you to explore both our school and district websites to stay informed.

Thank you for being part of the Grace Thille community. We are excited for another outstanding school year and look forward to partnering with you to ensure every student thrives.

Sincerely,
Betsey Chavez
Principal
